Edna Pulse

Edna Pulse is the official provider of WhatsApp Business. Using the Edna Pulse connector, you can create a
@Bot
in WhatsApp Business Account (WABA).

Connection

1. Bot configuration on Edna Pulse side

First of all, you need to configure the Edna Pulse.
Log in to . An account is created through Edna Pulse technical support.
Go to Settings → Channels. ​

The section must have at least one existing channel. Otherwise, contact Edna Pulse technical support to create it.
Go to the Cascades section. Click on the Add cascade + button. ​

Write down the name of the cascade. ​

In the Create a cascade section, in The message in channel field, select a channel. At the moment, only WhatsApp channels are available for integration, i.e. only cascades with one point are available for creation. ​

Save the cascade by clicking the Save button.

Confirm the action in the pop-up window.

After saving the cascade, its ID will appear in the Cascade ID field. You will need it later when setting up the
@Project Channel
. ​

Go to the Integration → Testing section.

Copy the value from the Your API key field. You will need it later when setting up the
@Project Channel
.

2. Agent channel configuration in the Platform

You need to create and configure an
@Project Channel
with the Edna Pulse connector.
Click on the agent settings button. ​

Click the Add channel button. ​

selection panel will open. ​

Optionally, enter a title for this
@Project Channel
in the Name field with the placeholder New channel. ​

Enter the link or in the Edna Pulse webhook URL field. ​

Paste the API key in the Edna Pulse token field. ​

Insert the cascade ID in the Edna Pulse cascadeId field. ​

To save the
@Project Channel
without activating it, click the CREATE button. ​

To save and activate the
@Project Channel
, click the CREATE & ACTIVATE button. ​

The
@Project Channel
will be saved and activated if:
The
@Agent
is trained;
The token in the Edna Pulse token field is unique (there are no active channels of the same type with the same token);
The channel address is accessible;
The channel webhook is registered succesfully.
The
@Project Channel
will be saved but not activated if one or more conditions are not met.
To cancel
@Project Channel
creation, click the CANCEL button. ​

Editing and Deleting Agent Channel

To edit an
@Project Channel
, click on its icon on the
@Agent
card. ​

To edit the
@Project Channel
name, click the field and enter a new value.
To edit the Edna Pulse token field, click the field and enter a new value.
To apply changes to an activated
@Project Channel
, click the APPLY button. ​

Changes will be applied if:
The
@Agent
is trained;
The token in the Edna Pulse token field is unique (there are no active channels of the same type with the same token);
The channel address is accessible;
The channel webhook is registered succesfully.
Changes will not be applied if one or more conditions are not met.
To deactivate the
@Project Channel
, click the DEACTIVATE button. ​

, click the SAVE button. ​

Changes will be applied and the

will be activated if:

The channel address is accessible;
The channel webhook can be registered.
Changes will be applied but the

will not be activated if one or more conditions are not met.
To cancel making changes, click the CANCEL button. ​

s on WhatsApp, you need to create a template, send it for approval, if unsuccessful, reformulate and send a new template, and if approved, initiate the mailing using the
